Cricut EASY PRESS (I use the 9″ x 9″ one)
StripFlock (MY FAVORITE SUEDE LIKE HTV) by the 12″ x 15″ sheet OR by the 5-yard roll (I get the roll because I use it like crazy!)

I’ve just uploaded PART ONE of creating a really cool t-shirt using FREE files from Cricut Design Space. If you don’t use Cricut, I’m sure there are free images online for something similar.
Anyhooo, since I really do love these mountains, I wanted to create this shirt (and at the same time help new folks with their use of HTV).
PART TWO is a demonstration of actually applying the vinyl (in this case Flock vinyl) to the shirt.
Here is my Amazon link to the press I’ve used in PART TWO.
This block has been interesting. I’m not sure I’d really want to do a ‘ton’ of them because it may be easier to just do “normal” half square triangles??
What do you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Leave a comment and let me know.
The one thing that I DID like was that I really didn’t have to think…. it was a Zen kinda sewing and that’s a GREAT thing some days!
Want to try them? Here’s a link.
Sooooo, I have a few BOWs cued up including this block (shhhh….take a sneak peek of it on my Electric Quilt screen). Fabrics are First Mate by Northcott.
I’ve got lots of cool blocks planned. Some are traditional and others are not. For example, for one of the non-traditional blocks, we will do flower pounding in July. I will demo how to do the flower pounding technique and show ways to enhance your block with thread painting.
PS If you’re wondering about that JUMBO microphone in my photo….. I used to podcast for Archie Comics and that is the mic I used. It’s great for eliminating noisy feedback. 🙂
