I LOVE it when I can create beautiful cards for my Cricut and Cameo machines without having to purchase special stamps or images. This card was made with FREE dingbats (ok for commercial use) and free font from dafont.com (I have all the details in the info under the video.)
I hope you enjoy this video and it spurs you on to create your own beautiful cards!!
I am going to show how to make these images into svgs on YouTube LIVE today. Not sure of the time so please make sure you aresubscribed to my channel AND CLICK the BELL so that you get alerted!
I will be using Silhouette Studio and creating these svgs for ANY machine….much like you can do in Inkscape but it is much easier to use Silhouette Studio (IMHO).
Below are the images we will be working on. What’s that? You say you don’t want to create these images??? Not to worry….what you learn in THIS class can be used on ANY image that you’d like (think DISNEY!)
So, please grab these images. Simply right click on the image and save to your computer so that you can work right along with me!!!
Yahoooooo, my Foil Quill arrived this morning and I am really excited to get going with it. Since a lot of you asked, I wanted to give you a bit of info that I’ve gotten from my research.
Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post where I do the LIVE unboxing!!!
The following materials can have foil applied to them easily:
card stock non textured
card stock textured
thin fun foam
I also found that the following types of foil work well with the Foil Quill
Anyhooo, I’m pretty excited to get mine. Grab yours here!! As I mentioned in the video, I got the smaller ‘set’ so that I could try it out and make sure that I liked how it worked. If you’d like to take a look at the larger set, click HERE.
I will be testing mine later today and documenting my results with video so stay tuned.
BTW, I’ve ordered my Cameo 4….. are you getting one?? Check it out by clicking on the image below!!
We are still in Halloween mode here at PattyAnne’s Place!! So, here is another super cute DIY decoration idea. I have actually used this idea for Christmas decor too!!
The video will show how I created mine in Silhouette Studio and how I cut it in both Cricut Design Space and in Silhouette.
Please make sure to sign up for our Newsletter above so that you can be in the drawing for a GIVEAWAY for a CAMEO3. The drawing will be held IF WE REACH 20,000 subscribers on YouTube by end of September 2019.
Have a wonderful day!!
The following YouTube video is a recording of a LIVE Session.
This box is soooo cute and easy to create! To get the free file, just go to the library up in the menu area.
If you’re using a Cameo, this file can be used as is. I hope that you’ll share what you create on our website!!!
If, on the other hand you use a Cricut, be sure to watch the video as I show how to use this free svg no matter if you’re using the Maker or an Explore Air (with the Score tool).
Below is the story that I told y’all about during the LIVE presentation! (You can see a larger version if you click here.)
I hope you and maybe a special child in your life enjoy it as well as the idea of being a helper like Peacock’s friends!!! You can purchase the book at my affiliate link here: https://amzn.to/2ZOJtC3 or grab it at your local bookstore!
We recently ‘enjoyed’ the Apple Festival in our town along with approximately 275,000 others! Most locals don’t go to it because our tiny main street is just jam packed with people. We did brave it this year since the weather was cooler. (I still don’t understand why the thing isn’t held in October!)
Here’s a brief look at one of my favorite bands to play there for those of you who like OLDIES.
Ok, on to the video link for the Cross Body bag. I hope you enjoy the video AND perhaps make one (or a few for gifts!) The FREE file is in the LIBRARY!!
I was LIVE-ish today! Yep, I said -ish because I was live but didn’t know it. lol
Anyway, in the class I demo how to create your OWN Embossing Folders for Cuttlebug or whatever embossing machine you might have.
It is a LOT of fun to do and all you need is the backing to any papers that you have… you know… I mean that cardboard that is a little thicker than paper. OR, BETTER yet…. if you eat cereal, why not use a cereal box!!??
