How to Make your own SVGs – LIVE on YouTube
Hey everyone!
I am going to show how to make these images into svgs on YouTube LIVE today. Not sure of the time so please make sure you are subscribed to my channel AND CLICK the BELL so that you get alerted!
I will be using Silhouette Studio and creating these svgs for ANY machine….much like you can do in Inkscape but it is much easier to use Silhouette Studio (IMHO).
Below are the images we will be working on. What’s that? You say you don’t want to create these images??? Not to worry….what you learn in THIS class can be used on ANY image that you’d like (think DISNEY!)
So, please grab these images. Simply right click on the image and save to your computer so that you can work right along with me!!!

Print & Cut then Foil – Silhouette Studio
Create this stunning card in Silhouette Software with me! First Print then Cut both the image and the sentiment, then Foil using the Foil Quill from We R Memory Keepers.

Unboxing of the Foil Quill for Cameo, Cricut and ScanNCut
Yahoooooo, my Foil Quill arrived this morning and I am really excited to get going with it. Since a lot of you asked, I wanted to give you a bit of info that I’ve gotten from my research.
Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post where I do the LIVE unboxing!!!
The following materials can have foil applied to them easily:
- card stock non textured
- card stock textured
- vellum
- vinyl
- cotton fabric
- satin ribbon
- thin fun foam
- acetate
- faux leather
I also found that the following types of foil work well with the Foil Quill
- Contour creations
- Spellbinders
Anyhooo, I’m pretty excited to get mine. Grab yours here!! As I mentioned in the video, I got the smaller ‘set’ so that I could try it out and make sure that I liked how it worked. If you’d like to take a look at the larger set, click HERE.
I will be testing mine later today and documenting my results with video so stay tuned.

FREE svgs for DIY Lighted Wine Bottle Decorations
We are still in Halloween mode here at PattyAnne’s Place!! So, here is another super cute DIY decoration idea. I have actually used this idea for Christmas decor too!!
The video will show how I created mine in Silhouette Studio and how I cut it in both Cricut Design Space and in Silhouette.

If you’re using a Cameo, this file can be used as is. I hope that you’ll share what you create on our website!!!

Welcome September!!
We recently ‘enjoyed’ the Apple Festival in our town along with approximately 275,000 others! Most locals don’t go to it because our tiny main street is just jam packed with people. We did brave it this year since the weather was cooler. (I still don’t understand why the thing isn’t held in October!)
Here’s a brief look at one of my favorite bands to play there for those of you who like OLDIES.
