Are you tired of purchasing svg files and want to create your own?
Betsy, from our Patreon group, had written the following to me:
Dear Patty Anne,
I don’t know what I am doing wrong?? I am trying to make an SVG of this logo, but have had lots of trouble. Once I finally thought I had gotten it (for the most part), when I sent it to Cricut, the are a bazillion pieces to the project. Obviously, I have not done things right! I am sending the original jpg file and then a link to my file I made……. don’t know if you can make any sense of it… I guess I just need help in step by step of how to do it… I really thought this would be easy…… NOT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated (when you MIGHT have time….. it is not urgent by any means. I would really just like to know the steps so I can do it… that’s the frustrating part… I thought this one would be easy….. sheesh.
Thank you so much for all you do and the amazing classes you offer,,,, you are wonderful!
First, thanks sooo much Betsy for the kind words!! I hope that this video will help answer the questions you had about taking the image you created from Silhouette Software to you Cricut Machine.
By the way, you can try out the software for free HERE.
You will need to purchase the Business Edition for CRICUT.
Linda, over on our Facebook group, asked ‘How do you add patterns into Silhouette Software?”
This video will show how to add jpg, jpeg or png images into the Pattern Library. If you have a .eps file instead, I will show how to use them as well.
Who doesn’t love freebies that we can use with our Cricut machines or Silhouette Cameos? I know I sure do! Just found these freebies and thought they were soooo cool that I had to share. The video below shows how to use them for both Cricut and Cameo.
Here is my affiliate link to the freebies. https://www.creativefabrica.com/ref/235685/
I really do believe this! With Silhouette software I can do soooo much more with my Cricut machine (and of course with my Silhouette Cameo 4).
If you haven’t tried it yet, what is stopping you? Seriously. Next best thing since sliced bread???? LOL Kinda kidding BUT I really do love the software.
Here is how you can make fabulous larger than mat images for you CRICUT. This video shows a step I did not go over in my prior video…that of saving the cut pieces FOR CRICUT.
If you’re like me, you have been VERY BUSY getting ready for Christmas. I was sooo busy that I forgot to post some of my videos. So, here are three of them!! Enjoy!!
You don’t need fancy paper to make fancy cards!! In today’s video, I show one way to create your own designs for you cards. It is a lot of fun and easy peasy!
I really was scared to do this Jean Freda Mystery Project.
The inspiration image that JF gave me was not what I was used to getting from her. She usually sends me a photo of what she’d like me to create but THIS TIME, she sent only this!!
Did she really think I could take these supplies and make THAT? ^^^
Well, believe it or not, I DID AND I LOVE IT!!
Here is the live video replay.
Today’s YouTube LIVE was loads of fun!!!
I simply loved creating this card AND I showed how to do it in both Cricut and Silhouette Cameo software.
I have to say….when I made the first prototype I was thinking… eh…yeah….that’s ugly. BUT when I created the actual card and added some fun embellishments, the card came to LIFE!! I can’t help but think you’ll agree!!!
Here is the video!
We are starting a new weekly challenge over on my facebook group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/cuttingupwithpattyanne/
It is going to be sooo much fun AND we are all going to take our cardmaking skills to the next level with all the practice we will be getting.
I have already posted the first Challenge on the group page. Here is the video that goes with it. I hope that you will join us whether you use a Cricut or Cameo!!
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope that everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend (if you live in the US) and didn’t eat tooooo much turkey! Unfortunately, I either ate too much turkey and stuffing and potatoes and green beans and …. OR it was the three heaping tablespoons of homemade whipped cream on top of the banana pudding, pumpkin pie and brownie that did me in for the day LOL.
