I was SCARED to do this project!

I really was scared to do this Jean Freda Mystery Project.

The inspiration image that JF gave me was not what I was used to getting from her. She usually sends me a photo of what she’d like me to create but THIS TIME, she sent only this!!jf wreath

Did she really think I could take these supplies and make THAT? ^^^

Well, believe it or not, I DID AND I LOVE IT!!

Here is the live video replay.

How to Create Templates in Cricut and Cameo!

IMG_8091

Today’s YouTube LIVE was loads of fun!!!

I simply loved creating this card  AND I showed how to do it in both Cricut and Silhouette Cameo software.

I have to say….when I made the first prototype I was thinking… eh…yeah….that’s ugly.  BUT when I created the actual card and added some fun embellishments, the card came to LIFE!!  I can’t help but think you’ll agree!!!

Here is the video!

A NEW WEEKLY Challenge for Cricut and Silhouette!!

Hi Everyone!

card challengeWe are starting a new weekly challenge over on my facebook group page:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/cuttingupwithpattyanne/

It is going to be sooo much fun AND we are all going to take our cardmaking skills to the next level with all the practice we will be getting.

I have already posted the first Challenge on the group page.  Here is the video that goes with it.  I hope that you will join us whether you use a Cricut or Cameo!!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope that everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend (if you live in the US) and didn’t eat tooooo much turkey!  Unfortunately, I either ate too much turkey and stuffing and potatoes and green beans and …. OR it was the three heaping tablespoons of homemade whipped cream on top of the banana pudding, pumpkin pie and brownie that did me in for the day LOL.

Hugs,

PattyAnne

How to Print then Cut 14″ Nutcrackers

These 14″ Print then Cut Nutcrackers were soooo much fun to create. To create them I just grabbed a free image off of google images and brought the images into Silhouette Studio (for either my Cricut Explore Air or my Cameo).

The most fun part was embellishing them!! I can’t wait to use these as part of my decorations this Christmas!!

This post may include affiliate links. I think am going to order the wide format printer below…..

I Decorated my NEW Cameo 4

I decorated my new Cameo 4 with this pretty vinyl. While it is htv vinyl, you KNOW I would NEVER heat apply anything to this machine so I just used double sided tape. I am glad I used this rather than permanent vinyl because I can change up the design whenever the mood strikes!!  You can get the skin in the Library.

foil quill

Yahoooooo, my Foil Quill arrived this morning and I am really excited to get going with it.  Since a lot of you asked, I wanted to give you a bit of info that I’ve gotten from my research.

Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post where I do the LIVE unboxing!!!

The following materials can have foil applied to them easily:

  • card stock non textured
  • card stock textured
  • vellum
  • vinyl
  • cotton fabric
  • satin ribbon
  • thin fun foam
  • acetate
  • faux leather

I also found that the following types of foil work well with the Foil Quill

  • Contour creations
  • Spellbinders

Anyhooo, I’m pretty excited to get mine.  Grab yours here!! As I mentioned in the video, I got the smaller ‘set’ so that I could try it out and make sure that I liked how it worked.  If you’d like to take a look at the larger set, click HERE.

I will be testing mine later today and documenting my results with video so stay tuned.

BTW, I’ve ordered my Cameo 4….. are you getting one?? Check it out by clicking on the image below!!
