HELP! Silhouette Software with my CRICUT

Are you tired of purchasing svg files and want to create your own?

Betsy, from our Patreon group, had written the following to me:

Dear Patty Anne,

  I don’t know what I am doing wrong?? I am trying to make an SVG of this logo, but have had lots of trouble. Once I finally thought I had gotten it (for the most part), betsy baseballwhen I sent it to Cricut, the are a bazillion pieces to the project. Obviously, I have not done things right! I am sending the original jpg file and then a link to my file I made……. don’t know if you can make any sense of it… I guess I just need help in step by step of how to do it… I really thought this would be easy…… NOT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated (when you MIGHT have time….. it is not urgent by any means. I would really just like to know the steps so I can do it… that’s the frustrating part… I thought this one would be easy….. sheesh.

First, thanks sooo much Betsy for the kind words!!  I hope that this video will help answer the questions you had about taking the image you created from Silhouette Software to you Cricut Machine.

Mountain Memories Craft Retreat!!! (Cricut and Cameo)

Yes, you read that right!! We are having a RETREAT this OCTOBER from the 27th – 30th featuring everything SILHOUETTE and CRICUT!

The THREE NIGHT ALL-INCLUSIVE Retreat will be held in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC at the Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC (near Hendersonville and Asheville NC). We will be staying in Founders Hall South and all classes will be held in the adorable MaryAlice Cottage.

  • Have you ever wished that someone could be right by your side as you MASTER die cutting machines? We will be there!! We will have Cricut Explore Machines, Cameo 3 and Cameo 4.
  • Have you ever wanted to try some new vinyls, heat transfer vinyls, faux leather, rhinestones, and paper products but were afraid? No worries. We have you covered! (We supply all of the materials!)
  • Want to learn to create absolutely stunning cards? We will teach you AND supply EVERYTHING you need to create them! (Again, all materials provided!)
  • Want to learn how to successfully use the Easy Press as you make ‘gifts’ for yourself AND other ‘gifts’ to donate to charity?
  • Are you tired of buying svgs? Learn to create them so you will NEVER need to purchase them again. Yep, it’s true!*
  • Want to get together with like minded friends for 3 days of uninterrupted crafting and LOTS of LAUGHTER? (Did I mention…. make new crafting friends?!!)

Silhouette + Cricut = LOVE

I really do believe this!  With Silhouette software I can do soooo much more with my Cricut machine (and of course with my Silhouette Cameo 4).

If you haven’t tried it yet, what is stopping you?  Seriously.  Next best thing since sliced bread???? LOL    Kinda kidding BUT I really do love the software.

Here is how you can make fabulous larger than mat images for you CRICUT.  This video shows a step I did not go over in my prior video…that of saving the cut pieces FOR CRICUT.

I really was scared to do this Jean Freda Mystery Project.

The inspiration image that JF gave me was not what I was used to getting from her. She usually sends me a photo of what she’d like me to create but THIS TIME, she sent only this!!jf wreath

Did she really think I could take these supplies and make THAT? ^^^

Well, believe it or not, I DID AND I LOVE IT!!

A NEW WEEKLY Challenge for Cricut and Silhouette!!

I hope that everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend (if you live in the US) and didn’t eat tooooo much turkey!  Unfortunately, I either ate too much turkey and stuffing and potatoes and green beans and …. OR it was the three heaping tablespoons of homemade whipped cream on top of the banana pudding, pumpkin pie and brownie that did me in for the day LOL.

I have got a terrific new site to share with you! When you use this site, you can create patterns for your Cricut machine (Design Space) or your Silhouette Cameo machine (Silhouette Studio) or your ScanNCut machine (Canvas)!!!
