How to Make your own SVGs – LIVE on YouTube

Hey everyone!

I am going to show how to make these images into svgs on YouTube LIVE today.  Not sure of the time so please make sure you are subscribed to my channel AND CLICK the BELL so that you get alerted!

I will be using Silhouette Studio and creating these svgs for ANY machine….much like you can do in Inkscape but it is much easier to use Silhouette Studio (IMHO).

Below are the images we will be working on.  What’s that?  You say you don’t want to create these images??? Not to worry….what you learn in THIS class can be used on ANY image that you’d like (think DISNEY!)

So, please grab these images.  Simply right click on the image and save to your computer so that you can work right along with me!!!

Cricut Card Template (Silhouette too!)

We at PattyAnnesPlace have been on a card-stock, card-making kick lately.  I guess with the holidays coming up it is the perfect time to get started making special cards for the special people in our lives!

If you aren’t a member of our Pateon group (the Software one) you missed a great class this past Saturday. We had a guest teacher, Stephanie, who joined us all the way from the UK! The class was fabulous.  If you would like to see what some of the students created during and after class, please check out our Facebook Groups (links above). You can also watch a replay of the class by joining us at patreon.com/pattyanne

Continuing in the card-stock, card-making vein, I created this card today and wanted to share it with you.  There are files for both Cricut and Sihouette in the Library.  If you use Cricut, make sure you grab the additional file with the EXTRA sentiments! Of course you can always create your own.  NOTE to CRICUT USERS: Be sure to resize the file before ungrouping.  (The width size is included in the file name.)

By the way, those of you using Silhouette Studio Software for your Cricut….. I created the super cool edging on the black piece in the card with the knife tool.  I think that revisiting the knife tool will be this week’s lesson on Saturday   patreon.com/pattyanne

Here is the video. And, don’t forget to grab the free files!!

Can You Cut Rhinestone Templates with Cricut and with a Cameo…YES YOU CAN!

So many people have thought that they cannot cut rhinestone templates with Cricut machines whether they be Cricut Explore machines or Maker machines. The answer is YES you can!

While you cannot design your own rhinestone template in Design Space (like you can in Silhouette software) you can grab a premade template and cut it.

Today I demo how to do just that.  If you have a design you’d love to see ‘stoned’ let me know!  We love hearing your ideas!!

BE SURE TO GO TO THE LIBRARY TO PICK UP YOUR FREE RHINESTONE TEMPLATE!!
